Six years ago, we made a huge leap. We bought a one-hundred-year-old run-down farm and moved an hour away from our family and friends in the city. We moved into isolation. Why did we make this crazy decision?
Because we believe in raising our kids in the freedom and safety of country life. We believe raising your own food makes it healthier and taste better. We believe in our kids learning real skills through hard work.
So, we bought our little farm, and moved into the old farmhouse, but we were under no illusions that it was going to be easy. It was a lonely first two years living out here. We had to fight to make connections with likeminded people and build a few close friendships with folks who lived near us.
We’ve never really been the “skills” people on YouTube. Sure, many people have told us they have learned valuable skills from us, but we’ve always seen our role as encouragers more than teachers.
We firmly believe, the key to achieving your goals is the state of your heart and the community you surround yourself with. That’s why we are happy to focus on encouragement and connection in our members area. Not that you won’t learn anything here, because we do plan to offer some practical courses, but you will never be successful if you are not encouraged and surrounded by community.
So, here’s what we have to offer. A personal connection to you that we can’t offer thousands of people on YouTube. Encouragement, from our family to yours for the life you want to live, through unique content, small interactive livestreams, and fellowship on our community forum (or directly by text message at the platinum level).
